Another one for the record!
It was a beautiful weekend on the island. We appreciate all who came from faraway and from our community to make 2011 the best Stampede ever. And it would never have happened without the volunteer organizing committee, the local bands, our ballonist and kite flying friends, Bill Fenimore of the Wild Bird Center, the generous corportate sponsors and volunteers from throughout the community.
And if this sounds like self-hype of the event, check out the superlatives that kite flyers from all over the country used to describe the venue, the experience, the co-stars, the school experiences and the event itself! It really was that fun!

The Antelope Island Stampede
Come on out to the island for Labor Day weekend - Friday through Sunday: August 31 - Sept. 2, 2012. A full schedule will be posted shortly
Please remember, coolers are not allowed on the Stampede Grounds, and food, craft and activity vendors at the Stampede site will only accept cash.
